For Dr Bruce Whittingham Chiropractic really is a family affair, having had a father who was a chiropractor and both his brother and sister are practicing chiropractors. Dr Whittingham and his wife Sophia moved to Australia from the U.K in 2001, and fell in love with the Gold Coast as a perfect place for their family.

Chiropractic has always been a way of life for the Whittingham family, and this lifestyle is very evident in the centre. Their mission is to provide an excellent level of care for each and every person that comes to them. Time is taken to find out exactly what the needs of the patient are, and how the best results can be achieved. Patient involvement is strongly encouraged, emphasising lifestyle choices such as appropriate exercise, posture at work and play, stress reduction and nutrition.

We have found that a person who has a good understanding of what their care involves, becomes very empowered to get the very best results of care.

Dr Bruce Whittingham having had 8 years experience prior to moving to Australia has a keen interest in caring for the whole family as he has witnessed first hand how chiropractic has helped in his own children.

Dr. Michael Bishopp BAppSc. M.Chiro: I have been a chiropractor for ten years now and I love it. I studied in Sydney and set up in Mackay. My wife and I owned and ran two large fitness centres at the same time.  I am very lucky to be friends with Dr.Bruce  and jumped at the opportunity to work with him. I was excited to take on a new challenge in such a respected practice.  I have a master’s of chiropractic degree from Macquarie University in Sydney. Cheryl Lawrence is an accredited Remedial Massage Therapist, having completed her Diploma with Massage Schools of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists(AAMT) with major health Fund Rebates.
